Staff aplication guide by anihilatore

If you want to make an aplication for mod or admin , you might want some tips for it. Some people have great skills as an admin/mod but they dont know how to comunicate them properly.
Before you even think about making an aplication , answer the folowing questions:

Do I want to give up pking?

Do I want to stop trading or droping?

Do I have the guts to Bann\jail\mute someone that deserves such punishment?

Am I professional and serious?


If the answer to any of these questions is no , do not apply for staff.


Step 1: Be profesional

You are not geting staff if you are not profesional or at the very least serious.
Keep your aplication clear and do not ramble , use proper spelling , this is not runescape messenger people. Here is an example of an unproffesional application:

Hello ppl , so , I wanna be mod coz I feel like im an awesome person and I <3 runescape
I mean , I rememer this one time I killed like 3 ppl with one freakin´ blow , it was SUPER!!
so , yea , make me mod coz im kewl and ....... bye

I would like to help out the server a little more , I know I can provide assistance against
people that break the rules , I feel like I deserve this promotion because I have been loyal to
the server and I am trying to make The server a better place.

The big diference in these two aplications is the use of proper language , the objective of a staff aplication is to impress the owner or co-owner of the server , so take out that diccionary and rock it!


Step 2:Make sure you cover all your points and provide proof.

Its very easy to say that you have experience , that you know how to handle people , that you deserve the spot.

But , prove it!!! If you have experience , provide server name and rank , if you know how to handle people invent a situation and tell people what you would do , if you think you deserve the spot
say why!!!


Step 3:Take your time

You only have one shot , take your time , think it well , put colors , fonts etc DO NOT USE EMOTES
emotes are fun to talk , but I personaly consider them unprofessional (I dont know if ace thinks so too). Do not rush it , if you rush the aplication , you will most certanly not be promoted.
